I might be slightly americanized, but I have to say, I got excited when I heard that Starbucks is finally opening a store in the center of Copenhagen, namely at Rådhuspladsen, the city hall square. As far as I know, there’s only one Starbucks outside of Copenhagen airport, namely in Fields shopping center, so it was about time! And yesterday, AOK (Alt Om København) broke the news that apparently, there’s going to be another one in Frederiksberg, at the Fasanvej metro station.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like Baresso coffee, but Starbucks takes the crown when it comes to seasonal drinks (still hoping they’ll one day serve Pumpkin Spice Latte in Europe…). So yay! Starbucks is coming to town - too bad I have to wait until September, though, I’d LOVE a cold tea drink to enjoy on the balcony right now (for example the berry hibiscus one… mmmh!).
Read the AOK articles here and here.
