I have a thing for prints. And I have a thing for Copenhagen.
So quite obviously, I would have a thing for Sivellink‘s beautiful and unique prints showcasing some of Copenhagen’s most iconic spots. I love the simplicity and straight lines - but they still capture the character of the building or area, like Nyhavn:
Sivellink is owned and run by Emma Sivell, a designer and illustrator. Over the past couple of years, she has focused her work on the architecture and landmarks of Copenhagen. Here’s a little selection of her work, which is available as prints, posters, and cards.
This absolutely gorgeous illustration of the greenhouse at the botanical gardens was the first one that caught my eye when I spotted it at Maduro.
One of the most famous sites in Copenhagen: the neon signs with the Irma chicken, which has been laying neon eggs since 1953.
And just take a look at this adorable deer in front of the Eremitage castle at Dyrehaven, the former royal hunting grounds, in Klampenborg.
Aren’t these just great? I can’t decide which one to get first. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below!
Sivellink prints and posters are available online at sivellink.dk as well as stores across Copenhagen.

Couldn’t agree more! :)

Emma is incredibly talented. It’s almost impossible to pin down just one of her beautiful prints as a favourite, but the Opera House and Marble Church would be one of mine.
Laura says
Absolutely - the Marble Church is stunning, but the colors in her work on the Greenhouse are my absolute favorite!

Yes I agree that Emma is super talented and I love her work - both her iconic Danish and British scenes . She’s done some fabulous work capturing London’s bridges and my old stomping ground, Westminster (Downing Street and Parliament). Surely it’s about time she was given the chance to do some illustrations for Tivoli?
Laura says
I would LOVE to see what she would do with Tivoli - I’m sure it’d be such a great fit for her illustration style!

I am in love - these are just fantastic. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Aren’t they beautiful? So glad you like them, Katherine!
