Last weekend, we went on a little walk in the beautiful, sunny autumn weather. We were visiting family in Roskilde, and our walk took us through a quiet residential area and some fields straight to Roskilde Fjord.
The colors of the sunset were breathtakingly beautiful – luckily, I had remembered to bring my camera along to capture the scenery.
The fall foliage was amazing, reflecting the golden sunlight in all shades of yellow, orange, and red.
I was rocking my new hat – a slightly questionable choice, since it was reaaaally windy, and I found myself having to catch it flying off my head more than once! But I still absolutely love it, and what a perfect opportunity to wear it.
We also came across a couple of furry cows – they were not entirely happy about being photographed, I think, but then again, I’m no expert in reading bovine facial expressions.
When we got down to the water, the sun was appearing and disappearing behind thick clouds, which made for very intriguing shadows and some great, eerie light.
On our way back home, we came by a little bathing beach and a small sailboat harbor. At one point, a helicopter flew by, spooking a flock of geese.
I just love these gorgeous colors in the fall!
