So many pretty things: Finderskeepers Pop-Up Shop Party

Finderskeepers is a small designer trade fair and market taking place in Copenhagen and Århus. It’s a venue for small businesses, artists and designers to showcase their work, for example in clothing, accessories, interior design, decorations, jewelry, prints, and so much more. If you, like me, are fascinated by smaller brands and individual designers showing great craftsmanship, you should definitely check out their homepage and mark your calendar for the 6th and 7th September, when the market takes place in Copenhagen again.

If you simply can’t wait until then, no reason to get sad now, because the lovely folks from Finderskeepers have set up a pop-up shop in the stylish Avenue Boutique Hotel on the border between the hip areas of Frederiksberg and Nørrebro, and were hosting an opening party on Saturday (which was one of my tips for the weekend).

In the small but cozy and stylish bar and lounge area of the hotel, you were able to enjoy a beer from Nørrebro Bryghus, a local microbrewery, or a maté maté ice tea, while nibbling on some chocolates and browsing through the small tables with the goodies. Brands on sale in the store include SilleKnotte (beautiful leather accessories, I have my eye on the leather shelf straps!), Handcrafted CPH and Nanna Fjord with their simplistic and beautiful jewelry, and many graphic designers and artists with their prints and artwork. I walked away with a small print from Sofie Børsting (who I’ve previously talked about) and one from Michelle Carlslund, who creates the most adorable, playful, almost child-like prints.

Below are some impressions from the shop.
